HCL interview Aptitude test

HCL interview Aptitude test

The selection pattern is as follows

1. written test which consists of aptitude & technical.

2. group discussion

3. tech interview

4.HR interview

Aptitude test was very tough
.........& tech was bit easy consists of questions from C,C++,OS,DS,NETWORKING,COMPUTER HARDWARE..................Aptitude consists of mainly tough puzzle type questions.........similar to some of the questions in GEORGE SUMMERS .................& PARAGRAPH questions. These paragraph consists of one full page question followed by only one question to answer by looking at which all of us shocked............because to answer that single question we have to read the whole paragraph............. some data interpretation questions were there.............some series completion questions were there............it was not the usual apti paper..........there was not a single question frm the book R S AGARWAL.........which most of the students prefer for placements............if your analysing ability is good then definitely you will clear apti paper.................search for the easy questions in the paper solve those as soon as possible..............so that some marks will be in your hand..............

There is no special about the tech paper.....if you are thorough with your basics.........then this paper will be a soft ball for you............

IN GROUP DISCUSSION they made groups of 8 each.........& the topic given to us is WHETHER COKE SHOULD BE BANNED OR NOT............they will mainly look at the following factors

1. confidence

2. eye contact

3. participation

4. fluency

5.non verbal communication
